First Smiles

so much to thank Him for...

It has been more than 2 months since I gave birth to my gorgeous lovely baby and I haven't made any entries on this blog as I have been enjoying every minute with her. Also words cannot express how I feel about her and this whole being a mother thingy.

I feel warmth all over me just thinking about...

the first time I had her in my arms;
the first time we looked into each other's eyes;
the first time I breastfed her;
the first smile she gave to me;
the first time I heard her squeal in delight;

every time she "squeezes" my muffin top waist with her hand when I nurse her;
every time she greets me with a Good Morning grin;
every time she talks to me excitedly about God knows what;
every time she settles into calmness when I carry and comfort her;
evert time she looks at me with those huge, doe-like eyes.

I am also thankful to God that she is a healthy and happy baby, that she sleeps through the night before she reached 2 months of age, that I am able to breastfeed and bond with her, that we love each other so much!

She is the next best thing that's happened to me since I married my husband.
